Verbier in summer

1500 meters above sea level, Verbier resort is located in the commune of Bagnes, in Valais, only half an hour by car from Geneva, via Lausanne, Montreux, Aigle and Martigny. Verbier is known for its classical music Verbier Festival, which takes place every summer, as well as the Verbier Xtreme, a freeride competition on the slopes of Bec-des-Rosses.

Verbier resort is also known in the moutain bike world as the starting point of the famous Verbier-Grimentz Grand Raid Cristalp race.

In summer, Verbier and the commune of Bagnes offer 400 kilometers of hiking trails in the second largest Swiss natural reserve and also lots of different mountain bike tours.

Nowadays, Verbier is one of the most famous swiss mountain resort like Montana-Crans, Zermatt, or Gstaad, St-Moritz or Davos.
